Quiet Hours are from midnight to 6 a.m. We ask that you please respect the ordinance hours. Our Parks need time to rest too. We have wildlife that like to visit and use their natural habitat and we ask that you respect the hours posted. Our wildlife will promise to give you a breathtaking show in the early morning as the sun begins to rise!
SMOKING IS PROHIBITED. All tobacco, smokeless tobacco and vaporizing devices are prohibited on any City of Batesville owned and leased properties. A fifty dollar ($50) fine can be issued to anyone using any of these products or devices.
All trash must be disposed of properly. We do maintain our parks daily but we ask that you please take the responsibility upon yourself and dispose of your trash to help keep our parks beautiful for everyone to use.
Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. Violators are subject to arrest and/or fines.
Riverside Park is an excellent place to enjoy the day with your canine companion! However, dogs are not allowed on ball fields, playgrounds or at the Batesville Community Center (except for service dogs). They must stay on their leash at all times. You must dispose of any waste your dog leaves on the premises in the proper receptacles.
