Event Details

Batesville Parks and Recreation is proud to host a Floorball Introduction Tournament on Saturday, June 20th, 2026. The event will begin at Noon (12 PM) at the Batesville Community Center Gym. Floorball is an engaging variation of floor hockey played with a wiffle ball. Our tournament will utilize a modified 3v3 plus goalie format on a standard basketball court, requiring each team to have four players on the rink (three fielders and one goalkeeper).

Required equipment, including sticks for fielders and protective face masks or helmets for goalies, will be provided. Goalkeepers are not permitted sticks or catching gloves in Floorball. The tournament will be governed by a modified ruleset of the official International Floorball Federation (IFF) Rules.

Event Structure

  • Seeding: All teams are guaranteed three preliminary games to determine tournament seeding.
  • Format: Single-elimination bracket.
  • Tiebreakers: Tied games will be decided by a penalty shootout.

Tournament Rules
